My name is Meghan Joy Patrick and three years ago, my family and I moved from the Green Mountain state of Vermont to the Buckeye state of Ohio.
In the past three years I have attended two different high schools, the first I attended was St. Clairsville High School in St. Clairsville. I presently attend Ohdela, which is based out of Akron and it is an online school. I have attended Ohdela for the past two years, and I am now a Junior.
I would have to say that the thing I miss the most at the traditional High School would be hanging out with my friends. I also miss the extracurricular activites of the school. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and still continue to attend the football games. I have to admit that I was once a Red Devil so I faithfully cheer for all of their teams.
School is back in session and it keeps me busy. When I am not involved with school work or hanging out with my friends, I am very active in my church. I also do some volunteer work at the church helping in kids programs. presently I am looking for a part time job and working on getting my drivers license.
I also enjoy music, and drama and I participate in a church youth drama program. I have had the opportunites for the past two summers to attend a conservatory in New York. At the conservatory I made some wonderful friends and worked on improving my acting skills.
I enjoy life and each day I look forward to new challenges and opportunities for growth.
